Leslie-Ann Robertson

About Leslie-Ann: "I have a degree in environmental science and have been active in the environmental community of Ottawa for over ten years. My work experience consists of a variety of local and national non-governmental organizations; I am currently working for the federal government on renewable energy issues. I am inspired by the beauty of nature and am passionate about protection of the environment. In my spare time I spend as much time in a canoe and tent as possible"
Why LA volunteers for Tucker House: "I have been a Board Member of Seventh Generation Community Projects, a local non-profit environmental education organization, since 2001. I joined Tucker House as a Board Member following the merger of Tucker House and Seventh Generation Community Projects in 2007. I believe that Tucker House provides a valuable service to the community by 'walking the talk' through its programs and activities, and am pleased to be able to work with great people who also believe in this philosophy. I am currently Chair of the Seventh Generation Community Projects working group of Tucker House."
Joshua Prowse

About Josh : "I am the webmaster for Tucker House. I've studied Philosophy and Political Science at Carleton University. I wrote my honours thesis about environmental politics in Canada. I am aspiring to go to law school. I am also the webmaster for several other sites including Faith and the Common Good Ottawa , the web site for the Ottawa branch of an organization which aims to unite faith and environmental issues, and Cycling in Ottawa , a group blog about cycling that I write with some friends. "
Why Josh volunteers for TH: "I have been captivated by the intelligence, passion, and dedication of a number of Tucker House volunteers. Volunteering with Tucker House has allowed me to channel my skills into a very worthwhile organization. "
